Punters Hot for July Wedding

MANCHESTER, England, November 17, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Behind the scenes preparations may have only just started for the wedding yet there is a right royal gamble going on for which month the happy couple will tie the knot.

Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement at St James's Palace in London on Tuesday and punters have been backing the royal couple.

"All the punters are hot for a July wedding and we've already cut the price from 7/2 to 2/1. As for the location we've had the most requests for Westminster Abbey but we are certainly monitoring the situation closely especially in our shops near Windsor and Buckingham Palace!"

In Betfred's other Royal Wedding specials Prince Harry is the hot favourite to be best man at 1/20 while Daniella Issa Helayel is favourite to design Kate's dress at 4/1. Elizabeth Emanuel, who designed Princess Diana's wedding dress, is second favourite at 9/2.
