Punters Win Mini Bets!

MANCHESTER, England, February 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Independent bookmaker Betfred this week gave away 3 brand new Mini Coopers.

The 3 minis were given away as part of a national campaign called the "Mini Machine Adventure."

Punters qualified for the prize draw by having specific bets and Betfred boss Fred Done was overwhelmed by the response,

"It's the biggest competition we've ever done and we got over one hundred and fifty thousand entries which is phenomenal. I'm delighted to give away 3 brand new Mini Coopers and I hope the lucky punters enjoy their prizes."

Two of the competition winners were able to collect their cars this week and Steve Wright, Landlord of the Franklin Tavern in Brighton was delighted,

"I was absolutely delighted, I was completely overwhelmed because I have never won anything before. The missus wants the car but she's got no chance."

Another lucky winner Avril Fitzgerald works for rival bookmakers Ladbrokes,

The lucky winners had no problem with the colour of their minis because Steve Wright supports Manchester United while Avril supports Liverpool.
