PureMatter Wins Best of Show and Five ADDY Awards in the Silicon Valley American Advertising Awards Competition
SAN JOSE, Calif., March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PureMatter, one of the country's top social, digital and content marketing firm based in Silicon Valley, earned "Best of Show" and five ADDY awards in the 2014 Silicon Valley ADDY Awards, sponsored by the American Advertising Federation.
PureMatter won Best of Show for their "90 Days to Ellen" social campaign (www.90DaystoEllen.com) which they did in an effort to raise money for Feeding America®. "'90 Days to Ellen' was really a social experiment for me and my colleague DJ Waldow (Marketo evangelist) to see if we could use social media for good. In the end we never actually got Ellen DeGeneres to respond but learned that social can build real world relationships and raise money for a great cause, even if it didn't turn out as planned," said Bryan Kramer, president of PureMatter. This Best of Show win for the campaign comes on the heels of it being named the "2013 Content Marketing Campaign of the Year" by the Content Marketing Institute and Disqus. The campaign is also featured in Bryan Kramer's new book "There is No B2B or B2C: It's Human to Human: #H2H", which reached the top 2% in marketing book sales on Amazon just days after its recent release.
Other awards were received for The San Jose International Short Film Festival, and PureMatter's own "Substance" Thought Leader Video Series, their "The End of Cats" Holiday Campaign (www.purematter.com/cats) and for Bryan Kramer's personal blog (www.bryankramer.com).
The panel of judges for this year's competition was comprised of top marketing experts from around the country, made possible by AAF-Silicon Valley's new virtual judging system – the first in the country to pilot such a program – from well-known firms such as Wong Doody (Seattle), Sanders/Wingo (Austin), Zimmerman (Miami), Huge (New York) and Showmobile (Los Angeles).
The ADDY winners ceremony took place on March 13, 2014 at Method 42 Productions in San Jose, an events fabrication company best known for its work for Pixar.
