Purolite Develops Solution to Fukushima Radioactive Water Clean-up

BALA CYNWYD, Pa., March 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Purolite announced today that they have been successful in achieving non-detect levels on all of the 62 radionuclides in the coolant water at TOKYO ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY (TEPCO) Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Station in Japan.

If any of the 62 radionuclides are not reduced to non-detect levels TEPCO may be forced to build even more storage tanks, which are exposed to rupture and spillage, until a satisfactory solution can be found.
