AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Santa Rita Ranch and Operation Finally Home will award a new home to Sergeant Ray Coffey, a decorated war hero.
Sgt. Ray Coffey made ample sacrifices for American freedom. He is a decorated war hero who joined the military in 1998 and honorably served two deployments to Iraq in 2003 and 2004. During his second deployment to Iraq, Sgt. Coffey was injured and sent home to American soil after his life saving efforts. He was lucky to be alive. Once he returned to the U.S., he was awarded several awards including a Purple Heart, a Navy & Marine Achievement Medal, and a Bronze Star. Sgt. Coffey and his family are soon to be awarded even more from Operation Finally Home.
To show their appreciation for the sacrifices Sgt. Coffey made, Operation Finally Home and Santa Rita Ranch, are giving the Coffey family a new mortgage-free home from Henley Homes, Inc., the builder on the project. This is the first of many mortgage free homes to be built in Santa Rita Ranch with their new partnership with Operation Finally Home.
Santa Rita Ranch will host the Operation Finally Home dedication for the Coffey family this Saturday, January 31, 2015. The event will begin at 10 a.m. with the Texas Longhorn mascot Bevo, the Liberty Hill Marching Band, and the Santa Rita Ranch mascot, "Happy," making special appearances. They invite you to honor Sgt. Ray Coffey and celebrate his family's start to their new lives in their home at Santa Rita Ranch.
The dedication will be held at 401 Norcia Loop, Georgetown, TX, 78628.
