DALLAS, Sept. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pursuant Group, a full-service fundraising and communications consulting firm, today announced its recognition for the third year in a row by Inc. magazine as the 533rd fastest-growing private company in the country. The Pursuant Group (Pursuant) earned its spot by growing more than 630 percent in revenue between 2007 and 2010. Notably, Pursuant earned the #10 spot in its hometown of Dallas, TX.

Newly named CEO Trent Ricker says this honor focuses his vision for Pursuant: finding passionate, innovative staff to serve nonprofits who aren't satisfied with status quo fundraising results. "Any professional service organization understands that much of what it has to offer resides in the hearts and minds of the team. Successful growth like this is the byproduct of great people working with great organizations. Their influence defines our story—and our clients' stories.

"We're committed to a single purpose: serving nonprofits. We're helping those who do good, do better," says Ricker. "But it doesn't stop there. We're redefining fundraising. We're changing the game for clients, employees and the industry as a whole. We've made a pledge to never settle, never grow complacent, to always explore, inspire–and even disrupt. This recognition by Inc. Magazine is proof: nonprofits are looking for new ways to communicate their compelling stories and engage donors in support of their mission."

Founder Matt Frazier continues to be excited about opportunities in front of Pursuant. "This growth is a reflection of how many nonprofit organizations want to reinvent their fundraising practices and systems. Nonprofits who continue to do the same thing are not getting the same results. The bar is higher for sophistication, personalization, and creativity. Pursuant's creative and analytical brainpower is pushing the boundaries of what's possible–and what's expected–from the agencies who serve them. I will continue to do everything I can to support Trent and the entire Pursuant team as they tirelessly serve this space."

Pursuant's recent sales growth stems in part from expanding and diversifying its service lines. The fundraising firm is known for innovative technology and rich media that delivers high-impact fundraising campaigns. Pursuant's strategies serve the donor development and fundraising needs of nonprofits across the entire spectrum, including data analytics and mining, direct response services, mid-level donor engagement, capital campaigns and major gift counsel. "More and more, our clients are looking for integrated, multi-channel strategies that resonate with donors and encourage support," stated Curt Swindoll, EVP of strategy for Pursuant.

The result is a comprehensive suite of products and services that make Pursuant a one-stop shop for any nonprofit fundraising program. With its acquisitions and affiliations, new media roots, creative capabilities, ability to act strategically on donor data, and diverse breadth of experience, Pursuant is capable of effectively reaching the entire spectrum of the donor audience like no one else in the market.

The 2011 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2007 through 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be U.S., privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2010. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million.
