PwC Re-launches Genesis Park, An Innovative Leadership Development Program

NEW YORK, July 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced today the re-launch of Genesis Park, an intensive and uniquely tailored development program designed to help create the business leaders of tomorrow.  The program is an immersive 10-week experience that builds the strategic and cultural skill sets required for global business leaders.  PwC re-launched Genesis Park in three locations worldwide - Boston, Singapore and Warsaw – with 45 high-performing PwC staff from 21 countries converging on Boston.

The Genesis Park program is a part of a larger commitment to learning, education and leadership development by PwC for its people. In the United States alone, PwC invests $190 million annually in training and development. PwC has been ranked as the #1 training organization by Training magazine for three years in a row.

Now in its tenth year, Genesis Park exposes participants to a complex, demanding curriculum which refines the leadership and teaming skills required to address strategic global problems.  Participants focus on resilient and responsible leadership, innovation, issues based problem solving, creating higher performing teams, storytelling, political risk, cultural dexterity and social capital.  Unlike traditional classroom-intensive training programs, Genesis Park devotes the majority of the curriculum to real experiences and dynamic, real-time coaching.  

The aim of the program is to help participants know how they lead.  The program focuses less on technical or academic issues and more on real, strategic challenges facing PwC and its clients.   To mirror real-world situations, the curriculum challenges participants physically, emotionally, professionally, and intellectually.
