PwC's Lisa Reshaur Recognized as Consultant of the Year in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

SEATTLE, June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --  PwC US today announced that Dr. Lisa Reshaur, a director with PwC's Risk Consulting Services practice, received an International Award of Excellence as the Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Consultant of the Year from DRI International, a non-profit organization and global Business Continuity Management education and certification body. The DRI International Awards of Excellence were presented at DRI2012: The Certified Professionals Conference Gala in New Orleans on May 22nd.

Dr. Reshaur has been with PwC for more than 13 years and is a leader in the firm's Risk Consulting Services practice and spends much of her time focused on Risk Resiliency and Business Continuity Management. She assists clients with issues including risk assessment, risk strategy, process improvement, business continuity management, vendor resiliency/risk and compliance management, crisis response, and duty of care programs. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Delaware Disaster Research Center, specializing in risk management issues, research methods and statistics. Dr. Reshaur is a Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP), a Six Sigma Black Belt, and is currently pursuing a Certified Risk Manager designation.
