Veteran Healthcare Sales Executive Joins Q-Centrix Team in Implementing Plans to Meet the Growing Role of Quality in Improving Patient Outcomes
CHICAGO, Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Q-Centrix, the leader in quality data abstraction and active surveillance technology-enabled services, named Jim Yamshak as its new chief business development officer. Yamshak brings more than two decades of experience building and leading sales organizations within the provider healthcare services and technology space. He will report to Q-Centrix CEO Milton Silva-Craig.
"Changes in federal regulation, reimbursement practices from payers, and macroeconomic factors are challenging hospitals to keep pace. To meet these challenges, we provide our partner hospitals with technology-enabled services that result in improved quality outcomes and reduced costs. Jim's wealth of experience in both healthcare services and healthcare technology make him an excellent choice to lead our business development efforts," explains Silva-Craig. "His expertise selling to large, multi-hospital systems will provide customer development insight as well as long-term strategic leadership as we expand our presence in the market."
Yamshak comes to Q-Centrix from radiology services solution provider, Foundation Radiology Group, Inc. He was instrumental in rapidly increasing revenues by 140% and significantly growing the client base as senior vice president of sales and marketing at Foundation. Prior to Foundation, Yamshak served as the senior vice president of sales for Emageon, Inc., a radiology technology solutions provider. While at Emageon, he was largely responsible for increasing sales that helped the company's annual revenues grow from $1.8 million in 2001, to $120 million in 2006. In addition, he played a significant role in restructuring the company's sales strategy and team in preparation for its sale to Amicas in April 2009. Previous to Emageon, Yamshak held an executive sales position at Alliance Imaging, Inc., a radiology equipment and services company. He was a key player in increasing the Alliance Imaging southern region's annual revenue from $11 million in 1992, to $49 million in 2001.
Yamshak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Auburn University.
