Q1Media Achieves Major Milestone According to comScore Video Metrix
AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Q1Media served more than 1 billion video ads in August in driven by growing demand for its platform from advertisers and online publishers. The Austin-based ad technology company saw a 320 percent year-over-year growth rate in video ads displayed, cementing it among the top 10 U.S. online video ad properties ranked by comScore Video Metrix.
A recent study by BI Intelligence shows that online video is growing faster than most other advertising formats and has the highest click-through rate of all digital ad formats1. Video advertising is expected to grow at an almost 20 percent rate through 2016 compared to 3 percent for display ads. Better programmatic marketing platforms and advertising performance are spurring growth for Q1Media at a rate far greater than the industry.
Advertisers and online publishers are increasingly turning to Q1Media to find additional methods to advertise with video. The Q1Media vSlider and other proprietary units have drawn heavy adoption because the high-impact video unit can be added to any page even if it is not video capable.
