Qorpak Announces Grand Opening Of Pittsburgh Warehouse

CHICAGO, Nov. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Qorpak, a division of Berlin Packaging and a longstanding trusted provider of laboratory containers and supplies, today announced the grand opening of its new warehouse and assembly operation in Clinton, Pennsylvania, a Pittsburgh suburb. The facility, three times the size of Qorpak's previous warehouse, enables faster deliveries to customers while supporting the business's rapid growth.

Over the past ten years, Qorpak has experienced substantial expansion, including a four-fold increase in customers served. Its new facility will support and extend the company's growth by allowing it to increase on-hand stock offerings while adding new product lines critical to the laboratory market. Qorpak offerings include plastic, glass and metal bottles and containers as well as closures, dispensing systems, jugs, vials, pails, and lab supplies from more than 125 manufacturers.

In 2010, Qorpak was acquired by Berlin Packaging as part of its purchase of All-Pak, Inc. Also acquired in the transaction was Dangerous Goods, which specializes in packaging systems for the safe shipment of hazardous and temperature-sensitive materials. Qorpak and Dangerous Goods will share space in the new Clinton warehouse, located at 2300 Sweeney Drive; the Class A facility, which totals 300,000 square feet, is operated by Berlin Packaging.
