Qualys Brings its Container Security Solution to New AWS Marketplace for Containers

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- AWS re:Invent 2018, Booth #2529 –  Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a pioneer and a leading provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, today launched the Qualys Container Security solution on the new AWS Marketplace for Containers. Customers can now easily gain visibility and security of containerized applications running on Amazon Web Services (AWS), in just a few clicks.

AWS customers can now use the Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) console and AWS Marketplace for Containers to discover, produce, and deploy container solutions – including Qualys Container Security. With today's release, AWS Marketplace has extended its existing benefits and features to container products, with a rich discovery and search experience offering access to a curated catalog of trusted software from reputable vendors.

DevOps and SecOps teams can now use Qualys Container Security to monitor and further protect their container-native applications on AWS without disrupting their existing Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. They can also assess the contents of their container images for vulnerabilities, control which images are deployed, gain visibility into runtime application activity, and also automatically enforce normal application behavior.
