Questrade to launch new online trading software in June

Questrade IQ suite of trading software to include versions for desktop, web, mobile, and tablet

TORONTO, May 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Questrade IQ, a suite of next generation trading platforms, is due to launch early next month. The web and desktop software (compatible with PCs and Macs), will launch in June. The mobile platform (compatible with Apple, Android, and Blackberry) will be available in mid-summer, followed by a version for tablets, netbooks, and other "small footprint" devices by early autumn.

Questrade IQ Edge (desktop) and IQ Web mark a major leap in trading technology. The platforms offer a user-friendly experience without compromising the complex requirements of an online trader. Questrade clients will be able to drag, drop, resize and customize their workspace with "gadgets" or "windows", personalizing their trading environment to suit their style. This degree of interaction is unprecedented in platforms available to Canadians today.

Another first, IQ Web and IQ Edge are free to all clients, and include live streaming U.S. data, supplied by Nasdaq. Clients can also upgrade to one of three data packages or add a la carte feeds. The platforms will launch with built-in research tools for fundamental and technical analysis, a charting package, watchlists, and expanded order types.
