CHICAGO, Jan. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- QPWB is pleased to announce that Jordan Matyas has joined the firm in an "of counsel" role.  Matyas brings to QPWB a proven track record of successfully navigating complex legislative and regulatory matters and delivering valuable results for clients.

Jordan Matyas has spent over 20 years working in and around government.  Matyas currently services his clients through his firm 1818, an advocacy group.   Jordan has represented clients before dozens of local governments in the Chicagoland area as well the State on legislative, regulatory, and procurement matters. 

Jordan's clients are diverse and areas of focus include: consumer lending, housing, taxation, medical care, food service, water management, software development, workers compensation, energy savings and a variety of other subject matters.

Jordan served as Chief of Staff for the Regional Transportation Authority, supervising a staff of 120 people with a budget of $38 million. Prior to that, he served as the Illinois State Director for the Humane Society of the United States. Jordan has worked at almost every level of government including the White House, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, the Illinois Legislature and the City of Chicago Law Department, among others.
