The Salesforce – Quote Roller integration allows users of the CRM to build proposals directly within the Salesforce opportunity section, cutting the time spent going from a quote to sale in half.
Proposal creation and delivery has always been a pain point for sales. Quote Roller co-founders, Serge Barysuik and Mikita Mikado, felt this pain personally when trying to grow an agency business out of Minsk, Belarus.
"We had to spend a lot of time on each proposal and once documents were sent, we had no idea if clients even looked at them," says Mikado. "Proposals are required to negotiate a better deal with another vendor. We wanted to know which prospects we should really dedicate our time to."
It took 3 years for Mikita and Serge to ramp up Quote Roller to thousands of customers and a sizeable seven figure revenue. After $655k seed round led by Kima Ventures, the company opened an office in South San Francisco aiming to build a US-based sales and marketing team.
Quote Roller's modular proposal creation cuts the time spent going from a proposal to sale in half and now with CRM integrations in their crosshairs, Quote Roller seeks to ease the pain felt by sales teams worldwide.
"Salesforce users want to be able to do everything within the application," says Mikita Mikado, Quote Roller CEO and Co-Founder. "Through our integration, we enable Salesforce users to not only create proposals quickly, but also track when their proposals are opened."
Once Quote Roller is installed from Salesforce AppExchange, the CRM gets an imbedded "Create a quote" button within opportunity details. The button guides users through four simple steps to create their proposal. The users can then finalize proposals in Salesforce and use the analytics and digital signature features to complete sales, all within Salesforce.
Prior to the integration, Salesforce users uploaded World or PDF proposals created outside of the application. The document styles varied from one proposal to the next leading to missing details. Thanks to Quote Roller, now, proposals can be added to Salesforce opportunities in a streamlined process.
