QVAVC-HD Encoder takes advantage of high-performance ViXS XCode(R) compression technology

TORONTO, April 13 /PRNewswire/ - ViXS Systems Inc. announced today that QVidium Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of IPTV encoder, decoder and transcoder solutions for the professional and broadcast market, has chosen ViXS XCode(R) 3390 System on Chip (SOC) for its QVidium QVAVC-HD solution. QVidium's solution takes advantage of ViXS XCode(R) compression technology to provide best-in-class compression and video quality for telco operators and professional markets.
