R360 Environmental Solutions Acquires Claco Services, LLC

HOUSTON, Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- On December 8, 2010, R360 Environmental Solutions, Inc. purchased Claco Services, LLC, which manages a fleet of brine clarification units in the Permian Basin. The Clack Systems utilized by Claco remove suspended solids from brine water, enabling the operator to re-use brine in the drilling process. The units were owned and developed by Russell (Rusty) Clack, who will join the R360 team on a consulting basis.

This acquisition enables R360 to provide a complete closed-loop drilling and disposal package. All wells have waste management needs which traditionally require a number of specialized vendors to handle waste products. Now R360 can provide a single contract and crew to manage all wellsite waste products—including brine clarification, bins, rails, trucking and disposal for those materials requiring offsite handling.

The acquisition of Claco Services is the first in a series of capital investments R360 will make in brine management equipment. "Offering total closed-loop drilling and disposal for the lifecycle of a well is strategically important to us," notes Gary Wallace, R360's Executive Vice President.
