RADCOM Unveils QTrace Application for IMS

The QTrace operates as an add-on application to an existing RADCOM Omni-Q deployment, or as an independent stand-alone application tool and provides advanced real-time tracing capabilities for today's complex IMS networks. When operating as an add-on it is fully integrated with Omni-Q functionalities and its unique monitoring methodologies.

Call tracing has always been an essential troubleshooting tool for engineers. However, NGN networks and even more so IMS networks present greater demands and new needs that are simply not available from many of the call tracing solutions available today.

A call tracing solution for IMS needs to address all of the challenges of a monitoring solution, such as correlation of complex multi-protocol, multi-interface traffic over multi-core topologies and across IP and TDM worlds. These challenges become more complex when necessary in real time.
