Radiance Technologies Appoints Mr. Clay Cook as Defense Sector Technical Director

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Radiance Technologies is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Clay Cook as Defense Sector Technical Director. In this role, Mr. Cook will assist Radiance Technologies' leadership team in growing the business for the Defense Sector. He will help devise strategies based on the company's capabilities to find solutions for new and existing customer requirements. Additionally, Cook will work directly with the Defense Sector Group Managers to execute their strategies, ensuring alignment with Radiance's technical excellence and business objectives.

Mr. Cook brings over a decade of distinguished experience in space payload development, business development, and program management to Radiance Technologies. Most recently, he served as Space Resiliency Business Area Director at GEOST, where he was responsible for a portfolio of programs valued at over $215 million across 15 optical space payload deliveries for critical Intelligence Community and Department of Defense missions.

Prior to his tenure at GEOST, Mr. Cook worked at Corning, Inc. and held positions at M.C. Dean and the Central Intelligence Agency. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing rapid business growth, developing corporate strategies, and maintaining strong customer relationships across government and industry.

Mr. Cook holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Graduate Professional Certificate in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
