RadioShack Renews Relationship with Assurant Solutions for Product Protection and Repair Service Plans

ATLANTA, Oct. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Assurant Solutions, a global specialty insurance and risk management company, today announced an extension to their long-term, exclusive relationship with RadioShack Corp., offering product protection and repair service plans to RadioShack customers. Terms of the agreement will not be disclosed.

Assurant Solutions will continue to provide product protection and repair service plans to shoppers who purchase consumer electronics at any of RadioShack's 7,300-plus retail locations in the United States and worldwide. Assurant Solutions has provided service protection plans for RadioShack since 1994.
