RADWIN Signs Multi-Year Agreement for Thousands of Wireless Links With iBurst, South Africa's Leading Broadband Provider

TEL AVIV, Israel, November 11, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- RADWIN (http://www.radwin.com), the global provider of Backhaul and Broadband Wireless Solutions, today announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Wireless Business Solutions (WBS), the holding company of iBurst. iBurst is South Africa's leading wireless broadband service provider. Under the terms of the agreement, RADWIN will provide thousands of links to enable iBurst to build metro Ethernet rings and provide last mile connectivity to its high-end corporate clients. iBurst has been deploying RADWIN's solutions in large numbers since 2007.

RADWIN's solutions deliver up to 200 Mbps throughput and operate at ranges of up to 120 Km/75 miles. These carrier-class solutions incorporate MIMO and OFDM technologies and offer a unique multi-band feature which supports multiple frequencies on the same platform, helping set a new benchmark in performance and reliability. RADWIN radios also offer a unique built-in Ring topology that was designed specifically for the ISP market and saves the need to use switches at the customer's premises.
