RADWIN'S JET Beamforming PtMP Chosen by IGL TeleConnect

TEL AVIV, Israel, December 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

RADWIN today announced that service provider IGL TeleConnect based in Iowa, U.S., has deployed RADWIN JET Beamforming solutions and RADWIN 5000 PtMP to augment its WiMAX and LTE networks and provide high-capacity connectivity to enterprises in Northwestern Iowa. System Integrator GIG Networks was in charge of project design and installation support.

Chad Lundquist, Director of Wireless Networking, IGL TeleConnect: "RADWIN is crucial to our business, enabling us to offer customers high-speed, reliable internet and telephone services. In the past we struggled to find a solution that would allow us to offer high bandwidth while maintaining our base pricing structure. With RADWIN JET we can meet customer demand and provide guaranteed bandwidth and 100 Mbps capacity. The JET radios work in the noisiest RF environments where other systems we've used in the past have failed."

Adam Nelson, Plant Manager, IGL TeleConnect: "RADWIN has proven to be a reliable platform, which is why we have chosen it as a crucial component of our wireless network.  The support we received from both GIG Networks and RADWIN have made the implementation of this new platform a success for IGL TeleConnect."

Dennis Stipati, RADWIN GM N. America: "The introduction of RADWIN JET Beamforming solutions has changed the broadband wireless access market and the business model of service providers who can now provide and assure 100 Mbps service, even in high-interference and non-line-of-sight conditions. RADWIN 5000 JET is a game changer for service providers and WiMAX network operators that need to differentiate their offering from fixed operators."
