Rally Software Names Angela Tucci to Chief Revenue Officer

BOULDER, Colo., Dec. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Rally Software (NYSE: RALY), a leading global provider of enterprise-class software and services solutions to drive business agility, today announced that Angela Tucci has been named the company's first Chief Revenue Officer. Previously, Tucci was Chief Marketing Officer. In her new role, Tucci will be responsible for the company's Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success organizations, aligning the functions for seamless collaboration and to strengthen the company's go-to-market strategy. Leaders of those organizations will report to Tucci.

Since joining Rally Software in December 2013 as Chief Marketing Officer, Angela Tucci has spearheaded the company's strategic marketing activities, refocusing the company on a solutions-driven approach. With her new responsibilities, Tucci will work to develop high-value, strategic customer relationships; create and maintain business agility category leadership; and drive revenue growth across Rally's sales channels and markets worldwide.

A veteran of the enterprise software industry, Tucci has more than 18 years of experience leading, developing, and executing successful global strategy initiatives and driving profitability in organizations. She previously served as Chief Strategy Officer for Symantec Corporation — a global leader in security, backup, and availability solutions — where she was responsible for the company's mergers and acquisitions, corporate venture investing, and strategic partnerships. Prior to her tenure at Symantec, Tucci was Chief Strategy Officer at NEON Enterprise Software, where she led the development and execution of the company's corporate strategy and market direction, driving the company to be cashflow positive for the first time. While at NEON, Tucci also acted as CEO of Compliance Spectrum, an IT governance and risk management company. She helped prepare the company for acquisition and turned the company around by focusing on profitability and growth, and presenting a qualified acquirer. Tucci holds a master's degree in business from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in physics from Princeton University.
