Rally Software's Tim Miller Named CEO of the Year by ColoradoBiz Magazine

BOULDER, Colo., Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Rally (NYSE: RALY), a leading global provider of cloud-based solutions for managing Agile software development, today announces the company's Chairman and CEO Tim Miller has been named CEO of the Year by ColoradoBiz magazine. Now in its ninth year, the ColoradoBiz CEO of the Year award recognizes the outstanding professional achievement and community impact of its recipients while taking into account obstacles surmounted, career-long body of work or other unique elements of a CEO's life and work.

Since joining Rally as CEO in 2003, Miller has worked tirelessly to transform the software industry with modern software development practices called Agile. His efforts have steered the company to its current position as a Forrester-recognized leader in both Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) as well as a Magic Quadrant leader by Gartner. In 2012, The Denver Post named Miller one of the Top Leaders in Colorado. Earlier this year, Miller led Rally through a successful initial public offering, which enabled the company to deliver on its founding promise to give back to the community by donating more than $1 million to the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Colorado and the Rally for Impact Foundation.

Nominations for the ColoradoBiz CEO of the Year award were collected from the Colorado business community, ColoradoBiz readers and staff. A judging panel made up of the magazine's editorial board evaluated the nominations and selected the finalists and winners.
