Ram Truck Brand to Sponsor Jack Link's Major League Fishing

TULSA, Okla., Oct. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Ram Truck brand, makers of the most innovative lineup of full-size trucks on the market, has become the latest major company to sponsor Jack Link's Major League Fishing.

Now entering its second season, Major League Fishing is a partnership between Outdoor Channel, America's Leader In Outdoor TV, and 24 of the world's best anglers. The league features original made-for-television bass fishing events designed to bring high-level challenges to participants and entertainment, as well as angling insight, to audiences.

Major League Fishing recently concluded filming for its second event: Jack Link's Major League Fishing, the General Tire Summit Cup. The Summit Cup, filmed on Chautauqua Lake in Western New York. The event will be televised beginning on January 3, 2013, on Outdoor Channel. The Summit Cup's Championship Round will be broadcast on NBC on February 9. Subsequent to the Championship Round's airing on NBC, it will re-air on Outdoor Channel the following week.
