Randeep Suneja, M.D., FACC is recognized by Continental Who's Who
KATY, Texas, June 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Who's Who recognizes Randeep Suneja, M.D., FACC, as a Pinnacle Professional Member in recognition of his contributions to the field of Healthcare. Dr. Suneja serves as the President, Founder and CEO of the Cardiology Center of Houston since 1993. He is one of the few quadruple-Board Certified cardiologists in the Houston area. He has also the distinct honor of treating over 60,000 patients during his career.
Dr. Suneja aspired to become a physician since he was in eighth grade. "I love medicine, and I have always been fascinated with the human heart," he said. At age 17, he started medical school at the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College in New Dehli. After medical school graduation he received his medical diploma from then Nobel Laureate Mother Teresa and also received a Gold Medal from the President of India Zail Singh. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Therefore, he pursued Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio. He has published over 20 articles in peer review journals.
In addition to his education, Dr. Suneja can cite a number of professional accomplishments on his resume. He was named Top Cardiologist of Houston in the 2013 and 2016 Houstonia Magazine, named to "Leading Physicians of the World" in 2012, voted Best Cardiologist in Katy in 2007, 2014, 2015 and 2016 and was selected as a Top Doctor in Houston in 2004, 2005 and 2006. He was also awarded "Honoree of The Year" 2007 by the American Heart Association, Katy Chapter, he was also honored Citizen of The Year by the Katy Chamber of Commerce in 2015.
To further his professional development, Dr. Suneja is a member of several organizations, including the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, the Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
