Global Talent Leader Advances the Initiative to Educate the Market on Best Practices and Innovative Strategies through Certified Contingent Workforce Professional Training

Sep 09, 2013, 08:00 ET from Randstad Sourceright

BOSTON, Sept. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Randstad Sourceright, a global talent solutions leader, today announced details of its partnership with Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) and its advisory role in developing the first ever Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP) program. Of the five charter partners involved in helping establish the certification course, Randstad Sourceright is the first to complete the extensive Train the Trainer certification to lead the curriculum and educate employers, suppliers and the larger community on contingent workforce management best practices.

CCWP is the first certification course available to HR, procurement and staffing professionals who manage contingent labor, and was designed to assess and enhance participants' contingent workforce program management practices and concepts and validate mastery of this area. Since SIA began developing the curriculum in early 2012, Randstad Sourceright has served as an original charter partner of the program, acting as an advisor and delivering subject matter expertise in support of the creation and refinement of CCWP course content. In addition, the company leveraged its extensive experience in helping clients develop effective contingent workforce strategies to provide best practices and thought leadership to enhance the quality of the CCWP program.

"We are grateful to Randstad Sourceright and the other charter partners for making the Certified Contingent Workforce Professional program such a success," said Barry Asin, president of Staffing Industry Analysts. "As a leader in the contingent workforce space, and a CCWP charter partner, we are truly pleased to see Randstad Sourceright take the next step by offering CCWP classes. Randstad Sourceright's staff have been trained to facilitate the certification class materials. This is another opportunity for talent acquisition professionals to develop their knowledge of contingent workforce management best practices as they take the class, pass the test and get certified."

As the only partner that has completed the Train the Trainer CCWP program, Randstad Sourceright has an enormous opportunity to further extend its thought leadership in contingent workforce management and educate the industry as a whole. Upon completion of the pioneering CCWP certification program, individuals will be able to understand what a contingent workforce program modeled after industry best practices looks like, and will build the skills and insight necessary to help put contingent workforce strategies into successful practice at their organizations. Available to anyone in the talent acquisition field, the course is built around an intensive curriculum on key strategies for effective contingent workforce program management.

"SIA's comprehensive CCWP course is designed to provide employers and the industry overall with diverse perspectives and innovative methods for developing and implementing effective contingent workforce strategies," said Randstad Sourceright president of Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Contingent Workforce Solutions, Teresa Creech. "Randstad Sourceright's global talent experts are proud to share our industry-recognized expertise and contribute to the development of this first-of-its-kind training program.  We are excited to help advance the practice overall and provide those responsible for managing contingent workforces with proven strategies and best practices to ensure their organizations meet their talent goals."

The CCWP program consists of 13 key contingent workforce program management best practice areas presented over a period of two days. Following the course, attendees must pass an assessment conducted by SIA within 90 days of course completion to be certified. Randstad Sourceright will conduct the first ever Charter Partner training session in Atlanta on Tuesday, October 22Wednesday, October 23, 2013.
