Ranger Chocolate Co. Celebrates Three Wins at 2025 Americas Bean-to-Bar & Craft Chocolatier Competition

PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Ranger Chocolate Co. is proud to announce three award wins at the 2025 Americas Bean-to-Bar & Craft Chocolatier Competition, part of the International Chocolate Awards.

Award Highlights

• Salted Caramel — Gold Medal, Best in Category (Enrobed Caramel): A worldwide favorite reimagined, Ranger's version uses real vanilla bean a melt-in-your-mouth texture that's finished with Jacobsen's Flake Sea Salt for a clean, balanced finish.
• Caribbean Chocolate Bar — Silver Medal (Non-dairy Milk Chocolate Bars with Inclusions or Pieces): Developed in partnership between Ranger's founder and head chocolate maker George Domurot and Portland chef Gregory Gourdet, this non-dairy milk chocolate bar highlights their love of Caribbean flavors with rich, ethically-sourced, Haitian cacao, creating a unique and exciting chocolate experience.
• Candied Oranges — Bronze Medal (Dark Chocolate Enrobed Fruit): Handcrafted in house, fresh oranges are candied with vanilla and cardamom, then coated in the Ranger's Classic Dark Chocolate for a balance of brightness, spice, and rich chocolate.

"These awards reflect the passion and dedication of our entire team," said Domurot. "It's especially meaningful to see our Salted Caramel recognized as best in its class, and to share in the success of the Caribbean Chocolate Bar developed with Chef Gourdet — a partnership rooted in our shared love of Caribbean traditions and flavors. Together with the recognition for our Candied Oranges, these wins affirm our belief in craft, community, and creating chocolates that inspire."

The International Chocolate Awards celebrate excellence in fine chocolate around the world. Ranger's trio of wins underscores our mission to produce the highest quality chocolate while supporting sustainable practices and community connections.
