Ray Elias Joins NatureBox as Chief Marketing Officer
Former StubHub Executive Hire Coincides with Launch of Online Snack Leader's First-Ever National Broadcast Campaign
SAN CARLOS, Calif., April 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today NatureBox Inc., one of America's fastest growing food brands, announced the appointment of Ray Elias as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Elias joins the online snack leader after a 10-year post at StubHub where he served as CMO and led the online ticket seller's innovation lab.
Elias will begin his new role on May 11, where he will oversee all cross-functional marketing efforts including brand, acquisition, consumer experience and retention. Elias's expertise in building innovative, disruptive brands will help the Bay Area startup bring its story to life across new channels, expanding its engagement with customers and fans—which include over one million snack lovers on Facebook. Elias will report directly to NatureBox Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Gautam Gupta.

Elias's hire coincides with the launch of NatureBox's first-ever national broadcast campaign, which comes after a successful local-market test period. The new 30-second spot kicked off this week on cable channels nationwide and will run for six weeks. The campaign marks a new direction for the brand and opportunity to reach a larger audience with a compelling brand story.
