RBM Selects CHARGE Anywhere For Mobile Payment Acceptance Platform To Be Deployed In Colombia

BOGOTA, Colombia and SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CHARGE Anywhere^® LLC, a leading provider of award-winning, secure mobile payment applications and payment gateway solutions, announced today the signing of a mobile payment platform and software partnership with RBM/REDEBAN MULTICOLOR S.A. (RBM^®), the largest network and payment processor and MasterCard Worldwide' s franchise manager for the country of Colombia.

Based in Bogota, Colombia, RBM will deploy CHARGE Anywhere's mobile payment acceptance technology (mpos) that will enable local merchants of all sizes to accept electronic payment transactions via smartphones using the Android™, Apple^® or BlackBerry^® operating systems. The mobile application, to be deployed in Spanish, will support EMV, credit, debit and private card electronic payments, as well as NFC payments in support of the first in-country certification given to RBM by MasterCard^® Worldwide earlier this year to process PayPass® contactless payment transactions within Colombia.
