RCCH HealthCare Partners Announces Changes to Executive Leadership Team

BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Sept. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Officials at RCCH HealthCare Partners announced today that Executive Chairman Martin S. Rash has assumed the roles of Chief Executive Officer and President for the company. He replaces Michael Wiechart who resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Rash will remain in his role as Chairman of the 17-hospital system.

According to Mr. Rash, "Having recently completed a successful merger of RegionalCare Hospital Partners and Capella Healthcare, we have been focused on finding the best ways to integrate and operate as efficiently and effectively as possible while providing high quality, safe, and compassionate care to our patients and their families. There have been discussions since the beginning of the company about Mike staying through the integration before exploring other career interests. We have now reached a point in the integration process where it was mutually determined it is the right time for this change and that the best path forward for RCCH HealthCare Partners and also for Mike and his very bright leadership career was to consolidate functions on the corporate executive team."
