When it comes to cloud resources, it is hard to beat the global reach and scale of the big 3 providers. Combined, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud have more than 70 data centers spread around the world. This gives training organizations the potential to deliver high performance lab environments anywhere in the world. The major providers were also designed for running production environments so they provide a level of reliability and security that smaller providers and internal cloud solutions simply cannot match. For example, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud all have 99.99% monthly SLAs for their virtual machines.
Until now, using the major cloud vendors to deliver virtual training was very challenging. Their consoles are complex, and their APIs even more so. Remembering to manually start and stop the labs is a hassle. Too often, connectivity doesn't work for users at secure locations. And none of the providers have critical features for training like over-the-shoulder.
ReadyTech Axis solves these problems by providing a training-focused interface on top of the cloud providers that makes it easy for training organizations to easily deliver training using the cloud provider of their choice.
