Real Girls to Role Models -- Meet the New LittleMissMatched Stars

NEW YORK, June 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LittleMissMatched (LMM), the innovative tween brand with the simple mission of encouraging individual style and self expression under the mantra "YOUbeYOU", is unveiling the first ever LMM Girls™ on Tuesday, June 12th at the LittleMissMatched store in Disneyland California!

Inspired by the popular LMM Fashion Dolls, LittleMissMatched conducted a nationwide casting call in search of four tween girls to fill the iconic roles of Artsy Girl, Rock n Roll Girl, Sporty Girl and Uptown Girl. 

From close to 1,000 applications, four fabulous girls were chosen to represent LittleMissMatched and spread the LMM brand message: YOUbeYOU™.

"When we launched our casting call, we underestimated the excitement & engagement we would get from both girls and moms, alike," said Tori Smyly Banu, Vice President of Marketing for the brand.  "We asked the applicants to write an essay defining the LMM brand message, YOUbeYOU™, and we were touched & humbled by the submissions. To celebrate the unveiling of the LMM Girls™, LittleMissMatched is hosting a meet & greet event at the LittleMissMatched store in the Downtown Disney District of Disneyland's California Resort.  Fans & members of the "Sockarazzi" will get to share in the excitement and have the opportunity to:

• learn what makes them YOUnique
• have your picture taken with them
• get their autograph
