(http://www.real-info.com) has been authorized as the latest distributor of the Freddie Mac Home Value Suite of products, which includes Home Value Explorer® (HVE®) and Home Value Calibrator®. As an approved distributor, Real Info, Inc., can provide AVM services to a broad sector of the mortgage industry via direct connection with Freddie Mac and the ability to offer the products directly to lenders and reseller clients.
HVE is an Automated Valuation Model (AVM) tool that generates an estimate of property value in seconds using Freddie Mac's unique proprietary algorithm. HVE provides extensive coverage of all 50 states and more than 3,100 counties with its database of approximately 100 million property records. In nationwide tests, HVE consistently performs at the top in the areas of coverage, accuracy, and reliability.
Home Value Calibrator (Calibrator) is a quality control tool that measures the risk that an appraisal, or other estimate of a property value, exceeds the actual market value by at least 10 percent. It assists in identifying loans for further evaluation and prioritizing workflow. According to Freddie Mac, Calibrator combines the precision of an Automated Valuation Model (AVM) with a statistically based scoring model to deliver a score that can help identify loans with potentially inflated collateral valuations.
