DALLAS, March 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- RealFoundations (RF), the world's foremost provider of management consulting solutions and managed services for the real estate industry, today announced the elevation of Phillip McCorkle and Dan Sterk to the firm's Executive Management Team, and the retirement of co-founder Mark Callin, effective February 29, 2020.

During Phillip McCorkle's 25-year career in the real estate industry he has become well known to RF's clients and the broader real estate community for his expertise in matters affecting owner/operators, developers and investment managers in the United States, Europe and Asia. He is especially skilled in business transformation and information-driven technology strategy, which has helped him build a diversified portfolio of client partnerships, including Blackstone, Link Industrial Properties, Atrium European Real Estate, Invesco, Carr Properties, MAA, Invitation Homes and Hines. Prior to joining RF at its inception in 2000, Mr. McCorkle held consulting roles at Ernst & Young and Kenneth Leventhal.

Industry leader Dan Sterk, also with 25 years in the business, is especially valued by REITs and owner/operators for his depth and expertise in the retail sector. He has enabled many of the industry's most respected real estate companies achieve their goals, among them: Brixmor, Colony Capital, Edens, General Growth Properties, Kimco and The Related Companies. Mr. Sterk also joined RF at its inception in 2000 from a career at Ernst & Young and Kenneth Leventhal.

In addition to their new responsibilities in support of RF's growth, both Sterk and McCorkle will continue to maintain active client-serving roles within the industry.

Retiring co-founder Mark Callin's notable career included 30 years in the real estate consulting industry, starting as an auditor at KPMG and becoming a partner with Ernst & Young's real estate practice. In June 2000, he cofounded RealFoundations with Chris Shaida and David Stanford, also veterans of 'Big 4' professional services firms. During his tenure at RF, he helped build the firm's homebuilding practice, which today includes 14 of the top 25 residential single-family builders as clients. Additionally, Callin led internal operations across the company's nine offices and the creation and growth of RF's managed services lines of business. In his retirement, Callin will remain actively engaged in the future of the firm as a member of RF's Board of Directors.
