Since Apple introduced iPad, both enterprises and consumers have avidly embraced the newest mobile form factor—Apple recently said more than 80% of Fortune 100 companies are either currently using or testing iPads within their organizations. These devices can be now leveraged by RealityVision users to create and share real-time video to and from the mobile edge.

A tighter correlation among video sources, user input and location information

RealityVision 3.1 gives field users more context while they are watching a feed, either immediately or when they later retrieve it from their personal history log.  If the stream has associated location information, the field user will be able to view that information in a variety of ways.   Similarly, if the available video source has text tags, the device user will be able to visualize them as well.  The mobile-to-mobile visualization of live video and other streaming data along with the originating location information is a patented process for Reality Mobile – more information about the patented technology and processes can be found on the company's website.

Extended opportunities for user input

While viewing another device stream—whether pushed from the Console operator or pulled by the user—the user can access and add to existing comments or, if there are none, start a new set of comments.  The user can do this during the initial viewing, or use the playback controls to find one or more specific frames of interest and insert the comments at that point.

Similarly, the user can access any of his or her prior video feeds at any time and add to existing tags or create new ones, again leveraging the playback controls to pinpoint the tag location in the video metadata.
