Rebecca Hoppy Appointed President of Rabin Martin

NEW YORK, Dec. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Rabin Martin, a leading global health strategy consultancy (and member of the Omnicom Public Relations Group) working at the intersection of private sector capabilities and unmet public health needs, announced today that Managing Director and Partner, Rebecca Hoppy, will assume the role of President, effective January 1.  Kate Schachern, Partner, will assume the role of Managing Director and Partner, also on January 1.  Dr. Jeffrey L. Sturchio continues in his leadership role as CEO with a focus on the firm's strategy and future growth.

As President, Hoppy will guide Rabin Martin's strategic vision and growth, including overseeing client services, broadening Rabin Martin's product portfolio to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs, and nurturing top talent in support of the firm's mission to improve the lives of underserved populations around the world. In her new role as Managing Director, Schachern will focus on business development; lead Finance, Operations, Marketing and Communications for the firm; and work closely with both Dr. Sturchio and Ms. Hoppy to continue offering strategic counsel across the firm's client portfolio.

A seasoned strategist, consultant and thirteen-year veteran of Rabin Martin, Rebecca Hoppy assumes the Presidency with extensive experience. In her tenure at the firm, she has led a broad portfolio of large-scale global health initiatives, providing the world's leading multinational corporations, foundations, NGOs, governments and multilateral organizations with creative strategies and global health programs to reach new populations, enhancing clients' contributions and leadership in global health. In her most recent role as Managing Director and Partner, Rebecca helped lead the company through consecutive years of growth and diversification and its 2016 acquisition by Omnicom.
