RecordLinc CEO, Travis Rodgers Earns Spot in Hall of Fame

LOS GATOS, Calif., June 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Travis Rodgers, current CEO of RecordLinc, will be one of 10 former athletes to be inducted into Los Gatos High School's Athletic Hall of Fame.  During his four years at Los Gatos High School, Rodgers was a four-sport athlete, competing in wrestling, soccer, football and track and field.

Rodgers was a two-year varsity starter on the football team, winning an impressive list of honors in his senior year, and was also a two-time league champion in the discus in track field.  Not only was Rodgers named the Most Valuable Field Athlete on the squad, but also completed the year by being named the high school's Male Athlete of the Year as both a junior and senior.

Upon his high school graduation, Rodgers earned a full-ride football scholarship to Santa Clara University for the fall of 1992.  However, the program was dropped after that season, at which time Rodgers transferred to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where he played tight end for three years before missing his senior season due to a shoulder injury. 

Considered one of the finest athletes to ever play at Los Gatos High School, 25 years later, Rodgers has officially won his rightful place in the Los Gatos High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
