Redivus Health Launches State of Kansas Initiative in Partnership With The University of Kansas Health System

OLATHE, Kan. and KANSAS CITY, Kan., Dec. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Redivus Health announced today it will partner with The University of Kansas Health System to roll out the Redivus mobile clinical decision support platform to Kansas hospitals and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers starting this month. The initiative builds on a pilot program started earlier this year.

The Redivus Health cloud-based mobile application delivers actionable, step-by-step clinical guidance to doctors, nurses and paramedics during high-mortality, time-critical healthcare events. The subscription service provides evidence-based guidance for treating cardiac arrest, stroke and sepsis.

This unique partnership brings together a Kansas-based software company with the state's only academic medical center to benefit communities state-wide. Of the 131 hospitals in the state of Kansas, 84 are Critical Access Hospitals, which are facilities with
25 beds or fewer serving rural areas.

Early Reports Are Very Positive
The Redivus app is the newest tool offered through the Kansas Heart and Stroke Collaborative (now called Care Collaborative) and The University of Kansas Health System to help improve healthcare throughout the state. The feedback from hospitals and EMS providers using the app in the pilot program has been positive.

The Redivus Health platform was launched hundreds of times during the five-month pilot program for educational purposes as well as patient diagnosis and treatment.
