Regent to Acquire Avon North America, Reuniting Major Avon Businesses After More Than a Decade Apart

The acquisition brings Avon North America and Avon International back together under common ownership for the first time since 2016, while enabling LG H&H to further focus on its core global   K-beauty and retail priorities.

SEOUL, NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES & LONDON, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- LG H&H Co., Ltd. and its affiliates (collectively "LG H&H") (KRX: 051900), a leading Korean beauty and wellness company, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Regent, the global investment firm founded by investor Michael A. Reinstein, as part of its ongoing global portfolio optimization to sell its interest in The Avon Company ("Avon North America"). Regent will acquire the entirety of LG H&H's interest in Avon North America. 

Regent owns and invests in businesses across luxury, fashion, beauty, consumer, media, technology, industrial and automotive sectors, taking a long-term approach to building and transforming companies across its global portfolio. In the beauty and consumer space, Regent's portfolio includes Avon's international operations across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, acquired from Natura & Co. in January 2026.

LG H&H is a science-driven Beauty & Wellness company in Korea and the owner of several global K-beauty brands. Since acquiring Avon North America in 2019 as part of its international growth strategy, LG H&H has supported Avon North America's continued evolution through product innovation, enhanced digital and operational capabilities, and ongoing modernization of the Social Selling business model.
