"More than 2200 participants of the first Livelong Benefiting Livestrong in 2011 raised more than $400,000. Net proceeds benefited the Lance Armstrong Foundation and Joe DiMaggio's Children's Hospital. We are taking that success and building on it for a bigger and better event this year," said Mike Schweiger, Zimmerman's Chief Financial Officer. "There isn't one of us that hasn't been touched directly or indirectly by cancer. This is a great opportunity for folks to do something positive for those affected by cancer."
