Registration Opens For The 2019 SHAPE Women's Half-Marathon

NEW YORK, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Meredith Corporation, (NYSE: MDP; www.meredith.com) the leading media and marketing company, today announced the launch of registration for the 16^th Annual SHAPE Women's Half-Marathon. Hosted by Meredith's SHAPE magazine, the leading millennial women's active lifestyle brand with an audience of more than 14 million, the SHAPE Women's Half Marathon is one of the largest women's-only half-marathons in the country.

The 2019 race will be held on Sunday, April 14^th, in New York's Central Park. The 13.1-mile course is open to female runners and walkers ages 16 and over.

"There's nothing more inspiring than seeing thousands of women from around the world come together to take over Central Park in celebration of female strength and camaraderie," says Elizabeth Goodman Artis, Editor-in-Chief of SHAPE magazine. The race is hosted in partnership with the renowned New York Road Runners (NYRR), the world's premier community running organization.

There will also be an awards ceremony following the race to celebrate the runners.
