In order to make the catering option available, the hotel provided executive chef Tim Jansen and banquet chef Manfred Brandtner with hands-on training in preparing traditional Indian cuisine. The chefs spent time with culinary professionals in Mumbai to learn first-hand how to cook dishes that they could prepare for wedding receptions in St. Louis, MO. Some of the dishes they mastered include dal makhani to the most exotic curries.

The hotel even plans to purchase a tandoor oven to make traditional naan bread on-site. The development of the Indian menus is part of the hotel's commitment to its guests who are seeking a special venue for their wedding.
