Renowned South Florida Educators to Open Innovative Schools in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties

MIAMI and CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., Jan. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Long-time South Florida educators Dr. Brent Goldman and Dr. Richard Goldman have launched their cutting-edge venture Xceed Preparatory Academy in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. Xceed Prep's model is a blend of the best educational practices combining technology-enhanced curriculum with on-site coaches and project-based learning to provide a high-quality education for grades 6-12.

Xceed Prep students create a personalized learning plan allowing them to have the flexibility to pursue their own interests and talents. Students have the opportunity to control their day and choose a schedule that works for them.

The Xceed Prep campuses, located in Coral Springs and Dadeland, are modeled after high-tech start-up facilities rather than a traditional factory-style school. Each location will have 75 to 100 students who will work both individually and in groups in a supportive and productive environment. Students will benefit from one-on-one instruction from subject-certified academic coaches and will have access to their online courses year-round and 24 hours a day. Xceed Prep has more than 100 courses to choose from including Advanced Placement (AP) and honors courses.

Drs. Brent Goldman and Richard Goldman have been two of the top private school leaders in South Florida for several decades. Richard Goldman was the Dean of Graduate Education at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) for 20 years. He and his team were pioneers in the development of distance and internet-based education at NSU. In 1996, Brent and Richard co-founded The Sagemont School in Weston, Florida. Under Brent Goldman's leadership the school grew to more than 800 students and sent graduates to universities such as Harvard, Princeton, Columbia and Vanderbilt.
