Rent the Runway to Open First Ever Pop-up Shop

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Two years after its inception, Rent the Runway, the leading online destination for designer dress and accessories rentals, announces plans to open its first ever pop-up shop in Los Angeles.

The Rent the Runway pop-up shop will boast hundreds of designer dresses and accessories available to try on, rent for a fraction of the retail cost and then take with you for your Valentine's Day date or Girl's Night Out.  A more edited assortment of occasion specific inventory will be offered to help women identify their style personality. Celebrated designers including Nicole Miller, Badgley Mischka, Shoshanna, Milly, Trina Turk and Robert Rodriguez (among many others) will be available. The pop-up shop will allow current and new members the opportunity to take their experience offline and physically interact with the product to experience luxury fashion.  

Additionally, Lancome makeup artists will be on hand to provide makeup touch-ups for all customers to create the full head-to-toe Cinderella experience that is offered on RenttheRunway.com.
