PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rentrak Corporation (Nasdaq: RENT), a leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising and entertainment industry, today announced InMotion Entertainment will begin ordering DVD content on its popular revenue sharing program for rental in the airport retailer's store locations across the U.S. InMotion Entertainment customers will now have access to increased copy depth and a wider selection of rental titles to choose from prior to boarding and enjoying once they hit cruising altitude.
As the economy has tightened, consumers are correspondingly viewing more home entertainment rental products in the form of DVD and Blu-ray Discs. Through September, overall rental spending is up 8.2%, to $5 billion, as compared to the same period in 2008.
