Rentrak Grows Its On-Demand Service With GaiamTV.com

PORTLAND, Ore., June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising, television and entertainment industries, today announced that it has signed a contract to provide video-on-demand usage (VOD) data to the newly formed network, GaiamTV.com. The agreement provides GaiamTV.com with access to Rentrak's OnDemand Essentials service, which is the leader in video-on-demand measurement as well as the currency for ad supported, free-on-demand (FOD) networks.

GaiamTV.com is a video-on-demand subscription service that includes exclusive yoga and fitness classes plus thousands of inspirational documentaries and personal growth, health and wellness videos. Available on a wide array of portable devices, including the iPad, iPhone and iPod as well as Roku and other devices, GaiamTV.com is seen as a destination with compelling, curated content that allows consumers to access and watch thousands of hours of videos any time they want, anywhere they want.
