Rentrak Signs Contract to Measure Tribeca Film OnDemand

PORTLAND, Ore., April 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rentrak Corporation (Nasdaq: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising and entertainment industries, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to provide Tribeca Enterprises new Tribeca Film OnDemand offering with advanced measurement service through its OnDemand Essentials™ product. With this agreement, Rentrak extends its leadership position in providing measurement services for the best on-demand movie content.

Tribeca Enterprises, through its Tribeca Film OnDemand service, is offering first run independent movies, including titles from this year's festival, playing concurrently on-demand for film fans around the United States. Participating cable and telco operators include Bresnen, Bright House, Cablevision, Comcast, Cox, RCN, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS. Using Rentrak's advanced measurement services, Tribeca Enterprises will be able to better evaluate the performance of its new offering.
