Rentrak to Present at the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) Audience Measurement 5.0 Conference

PORTLAND, Ore., June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rentrak Corporation (Nasdaq: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising and entertainment industries, today announced that company president, Ken Papagan, and Rentrak's Chief Research Officer, Bruce Goerlich, will serve as panelists during the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) Audience Measurement 5.0 conference.  The ARF's Audience Measurement Symposium will discuss the latest developments in audience composition and measurement across platforms.

Mr. Papagan will address attendees on the "Is Mobile Media Ready for Primetime? Asia Thinks So" panel which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (EDT) and will explore how mobile media applications are driving the media market in Asia and tactics America needs to employ in order to effectively evolve mobile media measurement. Mr. Papagan will be joined by representatives from mobile phone manufacturers as well as research companies involved in measuring these devices.

Mr. Goerlich will be a featured panelist on the "Defining & Delivering the Cross-Media Audience Metrics" panel and will address what metrics are needed to provide Touchpoint valuation in a 360 degree media and marketing world. This panel is scheduled for Tuesday, June 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. (EDT).  Mr. Goerlich will also address attendees on Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (EDT) during the "Targeting Through Data Integration" Key Issue Forums along with Jim Multari from PBS Kids Sprout, where they will discuss how Rentrak and PBS Kids Sprout integrated set- top-box data at the zip code level with product usage data to provide product profiles for traditional TV programming. Finally, Mr. Goerlich will moderate the closing panel of the conference, "The Video Innovation Speed Date," which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23 from 4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EDT) and will discuss new ROI metric approaches in order to define success or failure in video measurement.
