JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- People try supplements, track their sleep and experiment with wellness routines, but it is hard to know whether the changes they notice are meaningful.
Renue by Science has launched the Renue Research Community, a new platform that allows consumers to participate in structured, Institutional Review Board–reviewed research from home.
Participants may complete validated questionnaires, contribute health information and, in select studies, share data from compatible wearable devices, helping build a broader understanding of how supplements affect health and healthy aging while gaining insight into their own responses.
"People are already paying close attention to how supplements affect their sleep, energy and overall well-being," said Rebecca Crews, Ph.D., Research Director at Renue by Science. "The Renue Research Community gives them a structured way to learn about their own response while contributing to research on how these products perform in real-world settings."
Bringing Research Into Everyday Life
Traditional clinical trials provide essential evidence, but they may not reflect how people use health products day to day, and travel and in-person visits limit who can take part.
The Renue Research Community conducts remote, real-world studies that eligible participants can complete from home. Depending on the study, participants may:
- Complete online surveys and brief daily check-ins
- Follow a supplement or lifestyle protocol
- Share data from a compatible wearable device
- Track outcomes such as sleep, energy and physical activity
- Record product use and factors such as illness, travel or routine changes
Each study follows a defined protocol and may include baseline, intervention and optional washout periods. Eligibility, requirements and duration vary by study.
Combining wearable measurements, validated surveys and daily participant records lets researchers evaluate both objective changes and how participants feel and function. Anonymized group-level data can then show whether patterns hold across participants and how responses differ from person to person.
Designed for Accessible Participation
Members can review open studies and decide whether to be screened. Joining does not require enrollment in every study, and eligibility varies with the research question, health criteria and technology requirements.
Participation is voluntary. Each study includes an informed-consent process explaining what participation involves and how data will be collected and used. Studies are reviewed by an independent Institutional Review Board before enrollment begins.
As the program grows, Renue by Science plans to investigate questions related to supplements, sleep, healthy aging and other areas of consumer health. Findings will be shared through research summaries, educational materials, scientific presentations or peer-reviewed publications.
